We would like to say that we were very happy and satisfied with Matthews construction. We had a contractor who was suppose to have a good reputation come and he agreed to start our bathroom remodel in two weeks. We bought the material that we had agreed on and three weeks later he said it would be another week. Seven weeks later we decided to call Matthews construction. Needless to say we were concerned that all the construction nightmares we had heard were going to end up being true. But from the minute we met Eric Matthews he put us at ease. He gave us confidents that he was just what we were looking for. He gave us a estimate by that night and two days later started. I was able to watch different stages of the job and was very impressed with their work. Five days later they had the job complete. We felt like we got good quality work at a reasonable price. Since my father-in-law doesn't have a PC, I wanted to write a testimonial on the excellent job that you performed on replacing the deck on his house in Park Hill. Not only was your price reasonable, the workmanship that you performed was superb. All the nice touches that you don't think about but you included without asking. You didn't cut any corners - in fact, the craftsmanship was was so exceptional, it clearly exceeded all expectations. From demolition of the old deck to clean-up after the job was complete, the job that you performed was top drawer. You should be proud of your work ethic and it was all accomplished with a smile on your face the whole time. When a person finds a company that does something so well, they need to be bragged on. Just when you get to the point that you are so hardened by today’s less than thrilling workmanship and the brush off from most every company when you attempt to do business with them, a breath of fresh air can be found at Matthews Construction Inc! From first initial contact to the end of the job (which proceeded at breakneck speed) there was never a moment that we were uninformed, questioning the work or unsure of how the project was being handled. Every conversation and meeting was conducted in a professional manner with our best interest in mind. Mr. Matthews did a fantastic job on my house. I called him up and asked if he would fix up my house using his own judgement and taste in style and he did. I did not know where to start, not even with paint colors. Eric picked out the exterior color of my house and it looks beautiful! I even asked him to change up my kitchen because it was so out of date and he made new cabinet door's and changed the wall color to match my linoleum floor. I had a budget to work with and Eric got it all done and then some. I would highly recommend Eric for any project you need done.

I tried finding a carpenter to fix my house after a tornado knocked a big oak tree down onto it and was unable to. A friend of mine gave me Mr. Matthews phone number and he came out the same day I called him. He not only fixed my house, he took control of everything so that I didnt have to do anything. Now I don't have a big hole in my roof, I have a brand new roof, new floors new wall's in the damaged room and brand new paint job inside and out. He also built me a new front porch with a cover so that I can sit outside. I am very pleased with his services and would tell anyone to use his services.

Matthews Construction did an outstanding job remodeling my living room. I had a ugly 8' x 8' storage closet in between my living and kitchen and they knew how to get rid of it and reinforce the ceiling because the storage area was load bearing. They knocked out the wall, fixed the floor, installed new flooring and built some new cabinets for the kitchen. I was amazed at how swift and smooth everything went. I recommend him for anybody needing quality work done at a reasonable price.
